Hartman Road Little Free Library

The Hartman Road Little Free Library sits at the end of our driveway in Reading, Pennsylvania. It's a small wooden box on a post, stocked with whatever books our family has recently loved or thought someone else might. Take one. Leave one. Or just look and keep walking — no one's counting. The truth is, this library exists because Beth loves books. What started as a way for her to share this love with the neighborhood has turned into something the whole family tends together, but she's the reason it's here, and the belief driving it is hers: that the right book in someone else's hands is a gift you're supposed to share. The books on the shelf reflect that. Her favorites she wants other people to find. Books that shaped us as kids. Donations from friends and neighbors who've caught the same spirit. If you take one and it sticks with you, we'd love to know where it goes next.
